A day out at Twycross Zoo, Atherstone

An award-winning conservation charity, Twycross Zoo is a fun and educational day out for families, couples or friends. Spread across 80 acres of land with 500 amazing animals to discover, including many endangered and native species, this day out near Leicester will be one to remember.

You can find giraffes, snow leopards, penguins, meerkats, tapirs, kangaroos, snakes, flamingos, lemurs, penguins, the world’s rarest big cat, the Amur leopard and so much more at Twycross Zoo.

How to get there from Holiday Inn Leicester

The Zoo is four miles from junction 11 of the M42/A42 (which links the M1 and M6), so it is readily accessible from most of central England. Simply follow the brown attraction signs. For satellite navigation use the postcode CV9 3PX. Free parking is available on site, and your vehicle is accessible at all times.
