Supporting a worthy cause…
After our recent blog on positively coping with mental health conditions it only seemed fitting that Steve Coulam, the Cluster General Manager at Holiday Inn Leicester, decided to get his very dusty, unworn running shoes on and show his support to The Mental Health Foundation.
The French Rivera Run in Nice–Cannes
Steve will be embarking on one of the biggest runs in the world in Nice-Cannes to raise money for the charity.
The French Rivera Run Nice-Cannes is known for its incredible seaside route and brings together over 13,000 runners from nearly 60 nations! The race begins in Promenade des Anglias in Nice and finishes in the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, next to the Cannes International Film Festival.
Why we’re supporting the Mental Health Foundation
In 1949 Derek Richter founded the Mental Health Foundation and during their 70 years they have helped, supported and saved people from an array of different backgrounds including young people, elderly people, people with learning difficulties and people within the workplace.
The Mental Health Foundation aims to find out the main sources of mental health problems to help any individual thrive.
If you’d like to show your support for our GM, feel free to make a donation on Steve’s JustGiving page!
